Virginia Mediator Re-certification Requirements

Note: Must be completed every 2 years. Re-certification deadline is October 31.

General District Court (GDC) and Circuit Court Civil (CCC) 

8 hours of approved general mediation training including 2 hours of ethics

5 cases or 15 hours of mediation completed during the two year period of certification

Juvenile & Domestic Relations (J&DR) and Circuit Court Family (CCF)

8 hours of approved general mediation training including 2 hours of ethics

5 cases or 15 hours of mediation completed during the two year period of certification
